On the road by bicycle
During the first corona wave in spring 2020, we were lucky in misfortune. Shops, cafes and restaurants were closed and we were encouraged to reduce contacts. But we were allowed to stay outdoors without restrictions, i.e., go for a walk or ride a bike, if we kept a minimum distance.
The weather was excellent, atypical for April in Berlin and it was tempting to go outside. There were few cars and other cyclists on the road, so my husband and I were able to explore Berlin in a way that would otherwise not have been possible.
We cycled all over the city, through parts that I hadn't seen before. And always with me my camera. Most of the photos were taken while we were driving, are spontaneous moments from everyday life and also cityscapes.
